server infastructure
Following considerable research and testing we are now
able to host sites on Windows 2003 based platforms.
We are taking advantage of some of the very latest technology
to ensure your web sites remain available at all times.
It is our intention to migrate all sites to this platform,
FREE of charge during the next 2 months. All new sites
are automatically created on this infastructure.
We
utilise modern, high performance servers to host customer
web sites. These servers are maintained to a very high
level and are located in a 1st class data center environment.
All
web sites are hosted on servers configured with a minimum
specification as below. Many sites are hosted on servers
with far higher specifications.
- Microsoft
Windows 2003 server.
- Dual
processor Pentium III or Xeon (Intel)
- 1
GB memory
- SCSII
disks
The servers used provide very high speeds of return
for web content because of the ratio of web sites :
servers been low. All servers are monitored 24 hours
per day 365 days per year and technical staff are available
to respond to any issues. The use of pro-active monitoring
products ensure we are aware of issues often before
they become critical.
